Yua, a schoolteacher, is pressured by her mother to go on arranged dates despite her reluctance. One day, she finds her student Yuki crying alone. When she checks on him, he brushes her off. Noticing his unusual quietness, she approaches him again during lunch. Yuki reveals his parents’ recent divorce hurt him deeply despite expecting it. Yua buys him lunch, and they eat together in an empty room, growing closer. They start sharing lunches and joking around. But one day, Yuki sees her leave with a man her mother set her up with and decides to back off, feeling inferior. Yua tries to stop him, impulsively kissing him. Realizing her mistake, she leaves, confused. But it dawns on her—she loves Yuki, her student, despite it being wrong. The next day, she confesses her feelings in the empty room. Yuki admits he likes her too, but their relationship is forbidden. Yua doesn’t care; she wants to give herself to him. Though their path is tough, their love drives them to face all obstacles to be together.
